We are pleased to share with you our service updates that aim to improve and facilitate our range of services for our members.

Recently Enhanced and Automated Services

Launch of the Company Representative (PRO) Service Requests:

In the endeavour to constantly improve our services for our members’ satisfaction, we have launched a new portal service titled ‘Company Representative (PRO)’ under the Company Services tab, which enables DMCC members to appoint new, renew, update details or revoke a company representative (PRO) through the DMCC member portal.

Please note that the Original / Copy of ‘Certificate of authorisation’ is no longer accepted at the DMCC Client Service Centre counters and that appointing a company PRO will be mandatory from 1 January 2018; noting that post that date, DMCC will not entertain PROs who are not registered through this service request; unless they are valid power of attorney holders or active company officers.

To read more about this, please log on to your member portal and check the Portal Announcement section. For applicable fees, please refer to the DMCC Free Zone Schedule of Charges.

Launch of the Commercial Permits Service:

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Commercial Permits service request on the members’ portal, which is applicable for new and existing licensed member companies who wish to install self-service devices, such as ATMs and / or vending machines or who wish to set up a commercial counter or kiosk within JLT. Members can find and apply for commercial permits on the member portal at Company Services – Licensing Services – Permits – Apply for Commercial Permit.

Please note that all DMCC members who have any types of Commercial Counters, Commercial Kiosks and Self-Service Machines already installed are required to apply immediately for DMCC Commercial permit. Companies that remain non-compliant with the above after 2 months from receiving the members’ announcement will be subject to penalties.

To read more about this, please log on to your member portal and check the Portal Announcement section. For applicable fees, please refer to the DMCC Free Zone Schedule of Charges.

The DMCC Contact Centre Number Has Changed:

We are pleased to inform you that the DMCC Contact Centre number has changed to 600 54 DMCC or 600 54 3622. Please note that all the other DMCC contact channels remain the same.

Updates to the Online KYC Verification for E-signature Activation Process:

Please be advised that the Online KYC Verification solution that DMCC had offered to the members who reside outside UAE and are unable to come to DMCC to activate their E-signature at the DMCC Counter, is now available for all members whether they are outside or inside the country for a nominal fee.

The solution is an online KYC verification that is conducted through video conferencing where a DMCC representative schedules an online meeting with the member, carry out the identity verification and activate his / her e-signature.

DMCC will deduct the fee from the company portal for which the service request is raised for every successful online verification made. Members preferring to visit DMCC Client Service Centre can continue availing the service at no charge.

Interested members / HR Signatories can download the Online KYC Verification & E-signature Activation Request Form from the website at www.dmcc.ae/e-signatures. This form must be dully filled out and sent to esignverification@dmcc.ae to review and schedule the verification session; noting that the requirements and steps must be read carefully on page 2 before proceeding with the session.
