DMCC Services Updates - September 2017

We are pleased to share with you our service updates that aim to improve and facilitate our range of services for our members.

Recently Enhanced and Automated Services

Revamping the Business Directory Service Request:

DMCC is pleased to announce that the Business Directory service request has been revamped with new fields and functionalities to provide you with an enhanced user experience.

The key changes are summarised as follows:

  • Member companies can now update their Primary Email Address as part of the Business Directory service request.
  • The system will prevent the company from submitting the Business Directory service request if there is an in-progress verification for an already submitted service request for the same company.
  • Once the Business Directory service request is approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the portal user who submitted the service request.
  • Upon approval of the Business Directory service request, the updated license(s) will be available for download from ‘My Company’ section in the DMCC member portal.

 

E-payment Confirmation Enhancement:

DMCC has further enhanced the E-Payment confirmation, by introducing a warning message to alert our members from making duplicate payments.

With this change, member companies will now get a warning message if they attempt to top up their portal balance within 10 minutes from the first attempt.

In case the first attempt for top-up was ‘Successful’, and the customer tries to top up the portal again within 10 minutes, a message will be displayed showing that DMCC has received a successful payment and will reflect the current portal balance.

In case the first attempt for top-up was ‘Pending’, and the customer tries to top up the portal within 10 minutes, a message will be displayed showing that the payment is under process and that they need to check the portal balance after 10 minutes.

Introducing Instructional Videos for Visa Services:

DMCC has introduced three instructional videos for the new visa, transfer to and from DMCC and visa cancellation to assist you to understand the process for each of the services through a simplified animated video. The videos have been uploaded on the website under Support – How to Guides – Managing A Company – Employment and Visa Services. You can view the videos by clicking the following links: New Visa, Visa Transfer to DMCC and Visa Cancellation.

 

Third Party Authorities Service Request Manual:

The service request manual is an illustrative document, designed for members’ easy understanding of how to apply for the introductory letters to third-party regulating authorities.

 

Increase Visa Quota Service Request Manual:

The service request manual is an illustrative document, designed for members’ easy understanding of how to apply for exceptional visa quota.

 

Newly Added Activities

Please refer to the following newly added activities:

 

8532-01 Social, Psychological & Family Consultancy    

Includes firms specialized in offering a variety of social and psychological guidance services to families as regarding the area of social growth,  assisting families in solving their problems, organizing workshops for dealing with family guidance and how to address children and adolescents problems.

This activity requires NOC from Community Development Authority.

 

8532-02 Early Intervention Centre       

Includes the centres engaged in providing rehabilitation and assessment to children with developmental delays or to children with disabilities or eligible to from (aged birth to five years).

This activity requires NOC from Community Development Authority.
